About Us
In 2005, we started with 19 men at Sweeney Street Baptist Church. The next year, we moved to the larger Tenth Street Baptist Church, and the following year to the H. L. Neblett Community Center. As we progressed, we began to diversify. The choir is open to any male, age 8 years and older, and members of any race who desire to sing praises to the Lord.
Another aspect of our program is the presentation of "The Reverend George E. Riley on the Battlefield Award", in honor of the Reverend George E. Riley. This award is a recognition created by the Men's Mass Community Choir to honor a living male who consistently promotes God's Kingdom, and whose words, actions, and life edifies his fellow man.
